Terms of Service

Peithos ("we", "us") is a web application that lets you generate marketing images and videos using third-party AI models, based on avatars, products, and prompts you provide. By creating an account or using Peithos, you agree to these terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Peithos. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since sign-in is handled by email link or Google sign-in.

Peithos runs on prepaid credits. You buy a credit pack through Stripe, credits are added to your account, and each generation deducts credits based on the model and duration used. Credits are one-time purchases, not a subscription, and do not expire.

Because each generation immediately consumes real compute cost on our end, purchases are final and credits are non-refundable once spent. If a generation fails outright and no output is produced, the credits for that attempt are returned to your balance automatically - you do not need to ask.

You agree not to use Peithos to create content that:

• Depicts a real person without their consent, including likenesses you do not have rights to use
• Is intended to deceive, defraud, or impersonate someone
• Is sexually explicit, involves minors in any way, or is otherwise illegal
• Infringes someone else's intellectual property or trademark rights
• Is used for spam, harassment, or hateful content

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, and outputs may be reviewed by our third-party model providers under their own usage policies.

You retain ownership of the images, avatars, and prompts you upload, and of the outputs you generate with them. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate Peithos and generate your outputs, including sending it to the third-party model providers described in our Privacy Policy.

Generations are produced by third-party AI models (currently including fal.ai-hosted models and ElevenLabs). We don't control how those models behave and can't guarantee any specific output. Use your judgment before publishing generated content.

Peithos is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

We may update these terms as Peithos evolves. If we make material changes, we'll post the updated terms here with a new date.
